The DA in Moses Kotane has written to Municipal Manager Mokopane Letsoalo demanding urgent answers on the ongoing water crisis affecting the Baphalane ba Ramokoka community in Ward 12.

Residents in Niniva, Selosecha and Thabeng sections have been without reliable water supply for the past six years. Despite attempts by the DA to engage the Ward Councillor on the matter, there has been no response.

Six years without reliable access to water is unacceptable. Residents cannot continue to be given plans and promises that do not translate into action.

The DA is demanding that the municipality provide a clear explanation for the ongoing water shortages, outline what immediate interventions are being implemented, and provide firm timelines for restoring a reliable water supply.

Residents need action now, not another plan that fails to materialise. The municipality must account to the people of Ward 12 and take immediate steps to restore a reliable water supply.

On 4 November, residents have the opportunity to demand better. Vote DA for a government that delivers services for all. Only a DA government will bring a permanent solution to the failures that have left communities without reliable basic services.
