The Democratic Alliance in North West will on Wednesday, 26 August 2026, take our campaign directly to the communities of Ratlou Local Municipality as the party introduces our 14 ward candidates who will contest the upcoming Local Government Elections.
The party will host a community meeting at 11:00 at the Lokaleng Community Hall in Setlagole, Ward 5, where residents will have an opportunity to meet the DA’s candidates, raise the issues affecting their communities and hear directly from the party about its vision for a better-governed Ratlou.
The community meeting will be followed by a visibility programme in Setlagole Ward 5, as the DA continues to take its message of accountable, responsive and service-oriented government directly to residents.
The DA’s Working for All Manifesto 2026 sets out a clear commitment to professionalising local government, improving basic service delivery, strengthening accountability and ensuring that public resources are used to benefit communities rather than political interests.
These commitments matter in Ratlou, where residents deserve representatives who are accessible, responsive and prepared to take responsibility for the communities they serve.
