On Friday, 28 August 2026, the Democratic Alliance in North West welcomed new members in Motswedi, Ramotshere Moiloa, as the party continues to grow its support across the province’s rural communities.
Among those joining the DA is Cllr Keneilwe Regina Mosiane, a UCDP PR Councillor in Ramotshere Moiloa Local Municipality, together with her supporters.
The DA also welcomed Kgosi Batlhoeng Bethuel Mangope and his wife, Monica Mangope, of the Bahurutshe boo Manyane.
I, together with Councillors Neo Bernett Mabote and Imaan Sayed Suliman, welcomed the new members into the DA.
This growth is about more than membership numbers. It reflects a growing demand for government that works; government that is competent, accountable and focused on delivering the basics.
For too long, rural communities have been treated as guaranteed support bases by political parties. No political party owns a village, a community or its people. Political support must be earned through service, credible leadership and results.
That is at the heart of the DA’s Working for All campaign and our 2026 Manifesto: building municipalities that deliver reliable basic services, manage public resources responsibly, create opportunities and put the interests of residents first.
