The DA in Matlosana notes the announcement by the ANC Mayor, Cllr James Ntsolela, and his comrades, that he will be on leave until the end of May 2024 due to fatigue. See letter here.
This might be just another ANC trick to dodge accountability. It is interesting that Mayor Ntsolela is ‘fatigued’ after documents surfaced that allegedly implicate him in fraudulent payments.
Instead of going on leave to rest, Mayor Ntsolela should resign.
Service delivery in Matlosana is at an all-time low. Mayor Ntsolela is not fatigued from working night and day to improve service delivery to residents. Perhaps, he is fatigued by clinging to his job under mounting allegations of fraud and corruption.
On 29 May this year, residents will be granted the opportunity to once and for all kick the fatigued ANC out of government and vote in an energetic DA government that will improve service delivery.
